Family

Daughter of Philip S. Chun and Mei-Chih Chun. Philip has been with the Kalihi Y.M.C.A. for over 30 years, serving as its Executive director for over 20 years. Mei-Chih was a social worker for the State and later became a full-time mother, taking an active interest in her children's activities. Both parents are now retired. Sister Jeanne and brother Randall are pursuing careers in international business and commercial arts, respectively. Married on June 11, 1994 to Michael Sands Chun Oakland. Three children Mailene Nohea Pua Oakland, Christopher Michael Sing Kamakaku Oakland and Lauren Suzanne LeRong Kemelenohea Oakland. She has two grandchildren, Mysha and Shayden Tialevea.
